Life, a circus
full of marvels and great beauty
a slip from the high wire can
send you plummeting down
without a net to catch you,
The ride, the thrill can be wonderful,
You are high in the air and
suddenly plunging down,
Perhaps to be caught
dragged back up by a fellow acrobat
set back in the saddle,
To once again, take another leap
into the unknown
