Lying to ourselves
I see our world slowly ripped apart by our neglecting actions.
We think we are doing nothing wrong,
Though our world is being corrupted by this carelessness.
I feel like I absorb the pain of others,
So they don’t bring themselves to unleash it onto us or our home.
It’s like we love lying to ourselves so we become deafened and blinded
And not have to hear or see how bad our actions actually hurt us.
But all at the same time it’s like some people want the world to worsen,
So their dreams become a reality.
