Hate and disgust
Disgust self loathing
Loathing the fact that I will never be like them
Them who are pretty, skiny, popular, loved, perfect
Perfect is what our society wants
Wants me to be
Be perfect

Not pretty, not skinny, not worth anything, not like them
Them who don't care about academics, doing the right thing, me
Me who cares about this world and what I am
Am a writer, Girl Scout, friend, 4.0 student, scholarship winner, smiler, laugher, dreamer, believer,

Me who is all these things
Things that seem to matter to no one
No one knows
Knows in ten years I will
Will be an occupational therapist or teacher or psychologist or author, me
Me who will succeed in only these things, while
While others have families: husbands wives, children; because
Because no one will ever love me
