No One Knows
I smile happily,
And I laugh.
I joke around
And flirt,
But it’s nothing compared to what’s inside.
Inside, I’m a mess.
I want to die.
I want to cry.
I want to curl up in bed with a jar of Nutella
And watch movies,
All kinds of movies,
But I can’t.
Because
I have to smile and laugh.
I have to joke around and flirt.
I have to pretend everything’s alright,
Even though it’s not,
So that no one knows.
I’m heartbroken.
