Everyone has a different passion in life that is meant for them.
Everyone has something that they enjoy doing.
Everyone has something that they do not know how they’d live without.
For me, that thing is soccer.

After ten years of playing a game,
You become attached to it.
By the time fall comes around
I cannot wait to touch the ball.

The adrenaline I feel when I make a save
The rush when your team scores a goal
Or the feeling of pushing yourself to be better,
Is the feeling that I could never live without.

The smell of the fresh cut grass,
With freshly painted white and yellow lines,
Just waiting to be played on
All it’s missing is the players.

All of the hard work that is put into it,
All of the practices and the pain of preseason
It’s worth every second,
To be able to get that feeling when you play.

To be able to have that feeling when you make a diving save,
Or that feeling when your coach tells you good work
Or that feeling when your team takes the lead.
That’s the feeling that I’m hungry for,
That’s the feeling that I can never live without.
