The Road
Life is a road
what's up ahead isn't always shown
 every roadways' path is different
some are rugged, some are bent

You may come upon a crack
 and be taken aback
sometimes you'll find others taking advantage
when all you're doing is just trying to manage

Your road may lead you off a cliff to fall
but remember, no cliff is a wall
if you run into a sign that says 'Road ends'
 there's only construction ahead

 This road you travel solo
alone you wander to and fro
don't listen to others, they can do damage
all they care about is watching your carnage

Only small holes can you repair
you have to watch for when others attempt to ensnare
when needed stand your ground, keep the anchor down
 hold what you stand for

There's no such thing as a dead end
 all roads can extend
