The cut
Blood that dyed
red the wool,
died the shirt.
The needle it was rusty,
thread was frayed,
the shirt brown.
frown that deepened,
ever down.
To flow the
blood and stem
the finger I
placed my mouth.
I bandaged the wrap
from bottom top,
then poured it over
peroxide.
It cut the pain,
but made it sting.
