Was it your eyes?
Was it your smile?
Was it the question,
"Will you stay for a while?"
Was is my blindness?
Or simple-minded ways?
Or just the delusion of happier days?
I fell down,
you picked me back up,
but before I hit the ground,
I said I was tough.
Now I just want to get up
without your strengthening touch.
