A while ago,
My daddy went away
He fought our enemies,
But never came home
I wonder where he is,
Mommy won't tell me
She said I will see him soon,
And cried as she said it
Maybe she's sad that
I get to see Daddy,
Maybe she misses Daddy
As much as I do
Mommy is crying,
Doctors are yelling,
I am smiling,
Daddy has finally come home
