The Rain

Gracefully it falls from the sky,
Wetting the ground and everything it touches.
With it comes a sense of serenity and calm,
It is peaceful.
Rain.
The intoxicating smell it brings is the smell of the earth.
The way it feels on the skin,
Is pure magic.
Cold, wet, and exhilarating.
Rain.
