Those Stars
When I look at the stars
 I feel so small,
 Those pictures of those galaxies;
 Ours is nothing at all.

 How can I live my life
 With my petty greed?
 How can I justify
 Those things that I “need?”

 My greed’s insignificance
 In looking at the stars
 Becomes clear in my mind,
 What’s “mine” is now “ours.”

 So when I look at those stars
 I still feel so small,
 But I've grown a bit bigger;
 Now I've got it all.
