Day of Doom

The beats of the sun were pounding down like
bright vibrant purple rays of electricity from above.
The clouds in the sky were dark and gloomy
causing the flowers to go into a deep depression.
The field of roses blossomed from way down below
petals glowing so bright even the darkness doesn’t overcome them.
When the stems of all the other flowers realized this
they exploded from the earth fighting like
mountains of rock against the dark gloom of the day.
Multiplying in millions to over run the ground from another day of devastation.
