Drifting
Racing down the mountain at increasing speed,
Curve after curve fearlessly drifting. One after another effortlessly
Making hairpin last second drifts down the mountain,
Risking life and death just to beat the other driver, for what reason?
Is it for the money, or maybe the other drifter’s car? No.
A much bigger reason why, for the respect and status of being
“King of the Mountain”
One mistake and it is all over, DEATH.
Drift after drift, the two come closer to falling off the edge.
Turn after turn the drifts increase in difficulty.
The last drift comes closer, one drifter takes the lead.
Enraged, the other speeds up and try’s to run the leader off the mountain
The last turn approaches,
The leader sets up his last drift.
He goes into a drift; he makes a perfect drift with no effort.
Consumed by rage, the other drifter attempts to run the leader off the
Mountain, he failed and didn’t make the drift in time.
He fell off the side of the mountain onto the road below.
Pride drained, failure consumed his mind
His anger was his demise.
