I’m not a little girl no more
In the mirror I’m growing, changing
Look through my past and see me as I am

To ease their own minds or for something to discuss
I’ve been here and there, seen the big fuss
Can’t claim to have seen it all, but a fair deal for sure
I’ve realized people are gonna have thoughts so impure
But there’s a lot of good in this world if you’re looking
Nobody’s gonna expect what I’m cookin’
Found my compassion and my drive
Gotta be a reason I’m still alive
Never will I look down on those who hurt me
Nor ever let anyone try to jerk me
Off the path I’ve came to want
Won’t let my past continue to haunt
