To My Greats
I walked into your life
And you sept out of mines.
I loved you like my great
Grandparent and you loved me like
I was your child.
Every holiday you kept a
Smile on our face.
But when sorrow occurred
You gave a warm embrace.
If bad was to happen you
All went on a chase.
Till the day you got sick
And your life escaped.
I cried, I wept, and depression hit.
May you all rest in peace while our
Candles are being lit.
