The disgusting odor of liquor on his breath, when he'd whisper in my ear
To stay calm as he crumbled me into a piece of garbage.
My young soul, gone.
Black.
A long with what was taken.
The cigarette smoke, engulfed the room.
The darkness came again, he hit me harder this time.
I remember screaming.
When the light returned to my eyes, so did he.
Alone in the vast emptiness.
Drowning in the river of tears, I stand put on clothes wipe the disgrace.
And hide the marks that will eventually turn black with my inner soul.
And I retreat into my lonely world of black darkness,
My new world, that he gave me.
Broken into pieces.
Shattered, distraught walking among those that knew me.
Didn't know the black shade he would put me in.
