The stars are shining bright
The crickets are telling us their story
The lightning bugs are blinking
And the frogs are croaking
We are sound asleep
As these beautiful things are happening
We are oblivious
To the outside world
As night falls
And the moon lights
The world in its white light
This is the grandest sight
Ever to be seen
This is when angels
Fly about checking
On the little children
And when the Lord
Listens to our prayers
When you look
At the night sky
Remember the Lord
Created all the beauty in the world
As well as making each one of us unique and beautiful
All on our own
Be selfless and thankful
To our mentor
For showing us the way
And sharing this beautiful world with us
