According to Urban Space Legend
NASA spent a million dollars
On a pen that could write in space,
While the Soviet Union Space Program
used a pencil

But the Neanderthal Hunter/Gatherer
Space Program,
Following the infinite wisdom of their
council of elders,
Killed a Space Mammoth and used its blood to paint
The walls of their Intertribal Space Cave
