A Short Poem on War
War creates loss.
Loss is hunger,
Loss is thirst,
Loss is need,
Loss is depression,
Loss is fear,
Loss is your dead father who was a soldier.
You can feel on top of the world,
But when war comes,
The Earth beneath your feet crumbles.
You fall, and fall, and fall.
You cannot control this infinite collapse,
As you fall, and fall, and fall.
