Last winter I made myself a snowball, as

Bad as it could be

I thought that maybe I should keep it as a pet.

I let my snowball sleep with me,

I even made it some pajamas.

But last night I found out that he had run away.

But before he left it wet the bed.

The author's comments:
“winter” by martez W tells a story about a young boy who has a creative imagination. The speaker ends the poem with a twist that would draw the attention of a lot of people if they get it. Also what can be drawn from this poem is that it’s very unique if you really pay attention to the poem. The speaker uses comma’s to slow the poem down to grasp the reader attention. Also he put some words in bold print to show his imagination.
