Teenage hearts

Girls hearts are so easy to break
That's what you did that night at the lake
Didn't care about anyone but yourself
I hope your head ends up on a shelf

You looked at me with that cocky smile
I should've hit you with a file
So confident and sly
I'm glad I caught you in a lie

You stared at me with that stupid look
"I'm sorry" was all it took
So young and full of doubt
I hope you grow a big ol' snout
