I Am Nothing
My tears drip down to the cold, hard floor.
How could she say that about me?
I thought we were friends.
Just because I’m hanging out with someone else,
Doesn’t give her the right to call me evil,
Or stupid,
Or whatever else she thinks inside her head.
Her cold, hard stare
Makes me feel small.
Like she is King Kong,
And I am just a weak feather.
I sit alone at lunch
Because she was my best friend,
So now I sing to myself
Every sad song I can think of
To make me suffer through the reality
That I am nothing.
