Drift
Drift
Drifting away-
isn’t a loud crash
or a scream in your ear.
Its shift in the ground.
A small whisper,
you never fully hear.
Its not a destruction
you clearly view,
its a small earthquake-
that goes away unnoticed.
But it’s like the tides of the ocean
and all at once the feeling will catch up to you
The unnoticed will be noticed,
the whisper will be heard,
the destruction will be seen.
And the loss will be felt in your head,
and in your heart.
