Ryan Espinoza
Riding away from the sun,
Falling below the clouds eclipsing them today has been fun.
As I look back colors shine around the cloud,
Bright yellow and oranges expressing themselves loud.
The cotton soft edges are now lined black and bold.
But the light white still in the middle holds.
Trees making a silhouette against the sky,
Being a signal of good-bye.
Now looking at the stars feeling so small,
Do we know what’s out there at all.
So focused it looks like I’m there,
So I just stood an stare.
So beautiful I get lost,
But at what cost?
It’s all free,
I’m gonna flee.
