Blank canvases
That is how
our story begins
With people
we dream of meeting
Because bodies of water
separate us
From the possible
happiness or success
Do you wonder
why I put the 'or'
It is because
you must choose one
Happiness
or
Success
but bodies of water
don't separate me and my fears.
And the tears I create
Could create another ocean
That would separate us
from anything
and everything.
