Crowds gathering around to see us
Never thought this day would come
Graduation day is here

We walk down the aisle
Representing brown and gold….PRIDE
Tears are falling from our eyes

First day of kindergarten
Sad, scared and alone
Crazy, meeting my best friend

It’s over just like that
Where did those days go?
It’s the first day of middle school
My own locker my own combination
I’m growing up
Missing the days on the playground
Now worrying, am I cool enough
Why don’t boys like me?

Where did the years go?
Its freshman year
Grades matter
Teachers are harder
Still caring about boys
Can’t I just have nap time back?
Our first homecoming dance
No date, all alone

Junior year
Finally it’s almost over

But not before finding my soul mate
Planning prom and counting down
The days till summer

Wait its senior year
Where did the time go?
Applications rolling in, dead lines
Voting, last time for everything
