Jump.
The dense woodlands continue to swallow me whole. The moss covered trees surround me with green, the flowers add their variety. I can feel the breeze move the leaves of the trees, the leaves upon leaves that I see. It seems to be neverending, but I know the end. The breeze is picking up, the air provides its fresh bite. Finally I find the break I've been searching for; I push aside the branches and I'm here. The space is empty and open, I feel the coolness of smooth stone on my feet.
I walk to the edge,
closer to the crashing
heard so far below.
I take a deep breath,
and then
i
jump.
