"Broken Promises"

I'm at my weakest
point making sure my past
doesn't attack me.
Sorry I couldn't keep
it away from me.It called
my name.
I hold on but
the more I
try then it makes
me just a vulnerable
opponent.
My tears didn't
save me this time.
I broke the promise
yet I never regretted it.
