I knew a girl
And I was her
But she's not me
Not anymore
She loved without fear
Burning bright and unadulterated
Mind stretching above the clouds
I left her behind
Not on purpose
It was just life that stole me from her
Everyone left her
She never knew why
So she left herself
I know why
