A Magnificent Return
September 26, 2013
The fire ravaged the woods.
Destroying everything in the
area as if it were paper.
Some trunks were left standing,
but it was all black. The birds were
not chirping for they were all gone.
But nature will return.
Not quickly, but eventually it will
return to its former glory.
The trees will grow lush and green
with leaves, and the birds--they will
fill the area with their beautiful sound.
