Twister
Thunder claps,
Lighting steps across the horizon.
Is this what it is like to breathe ones last?
The wind swirls my memories,
Train whistles blow clangorously.
My age is still in youth,
My debt is not yet repaid,
Yet my expiration nears.
The cyclone ceases,
The gale desists.
God has heard my plea,
My soul is spared.
