Life isn't Fair
Why is it for every happy moment there is always a sad moment to follow?
When someone is born,
another is dying.
While you are eating,
someone is starving.
While you are healthy,
someone is sick.
While your family is having a good time,
another could be separated.
Two parents fight and a child locks them-self in a closet to get away.
Imagine being hit, punched, and abused when you did nothing wrong.
Imagine coming home to a parent shooting up on drugs.
Never there, all alone.
Imagine coming home to someone you love dying or dead in front of you.
And you can do nothing, but watch.
Open your eyes to those around you.
The people you talk to,
and that smile back at you,
could be victims.
They didn't want this.
So speak up for those who won't speak for themselves.
You can be their strength.
You can be their courage.
Because we all know...
LIFE ISN'T FAIR.
