Would you hear?
My face burns scarlet
Tears stinging my cheeks as they slide down them like raindrops
Sobs swell in my chest like waves yearning to crash upon the shore
I try to run, to escape the pain
My mind screams, "Move!", but my legs stay glued to the floor
Their sharp words fly like bullets
Each catching their target with deadly accuracy
If I were to fall would anyone hear me?
