daring myself to plunge into that hidden waterfall that summer night,

standing through that hole on the top of her car with my arms spread wide

sticking my face into that stolen cake
im sure you swore i was risible

until you crawled through and saw it as an achievement
until you plunged and felt the brisk water on your shoulders
until you stood up and felt the air push back you hair
until you stuck your face into the pink frosting getting sprinkles in your ear, did you realize that i am wild and worthy
