Exaggeration
We all do it
Once in our lives
A little white lie
So we don’t have to go to school
We Exaggerate
A tiny ailment
An illness
We think we are going
To throw up
The room is spinning
Our knees are shaking
It’s getting hot
Our temperature is rising
We feel weak
We are SO sick
We can’t possibly get dressed
But when mom says
“Oh you poor sweetie, I’ll call the doctor.”
And then we get out of bed
Faster
Than a cheetah runs.
