A black snake creeping through my mind,
a dark shadow clouding all I see,
it weighs heavily in my chest. I can’t
breathe.
Alone in solitude,
despite my companions,
I am trapped in a vortex. I can’t
stop.
A golden white light
reaches out for me,
and I am unafraid. I am never
alone.
