The man named Gatsby
Only wanted to be happy
All he longed for was daisy
Thinking about her makes him hazy
Reaching out for the Green Light
Tom watched in spite
He had a new friend Nick Carraway
Bringing him and Daisy from across the bay
Old sport his motto
As rich as the man who won the lotto
Always a man frozen in time
Driving around with Wolfsheim
We've heard he is a man of crime
Some say he sells illegal wine
Shot by Wilson getting out of a pool filled with hope
He then lay dead, bleeding like a stabbed goat
He left this world a mysterious man
Who lived his life like a can
This is the story of a man ever so great
Who died in his pool and lived his life trying to wait

This piece is based off my favorite book, The Great Gatsby. Ever since I read that book I was in love with it and couldn't stop writing about it. This is my favorite one of them all because it tells about all the characters and not just one.
