Through my eyes yours are only inches away,
For my eyes see what the heart wants.
Yet my heart is ignored.
Your eyes see me as a familiar wall.
Walls see all and speak to all but get few responses.
Your responses only keep me humble for so long.
I feel as though I have been screaming!
I’m hopeless in my thought-up romance with you.
You will see the color in the white slapped coates that hide me from your heart.

The author's comments:
I try to write what is happening in my life. The best way for me to express that is through emotions and through others perspectives through my own eyes. The feeling that I can control others images is dazzling, even though I chose to make them closest to what I think may be reality. I want people to understand that my writing expresses how for me, communication is key.
