Leaping
Across
With tender feet
Like grasshoppers

Inching
Towards the end
No matter
How long

Glistening
Under lights
With minds
Absorbed

Persevering
And holding on
Through times
Of need

Twirling
With passion
On toes
Made of steel

Reaching
Down
And up
With grace

Pushing
All obstacles
Out of
The Way

I love watching new art forms and having my writing reflect off of them. In this piece I was inspired by ballet dancers and have dedicated this to them worldwide.
