It's just a matter of time
Before this life is black and grey
Everyone takes advantage of what we have
Soldiers fighting war to protect us all
When most don't even deserve it
Not me and not you
Explosives, gunfire, injured with wounds
Hurt with pain for us that don't have to
Take a seat and listen carefully
There not fighting and bleeding for popsicles and candy
So lets take a minute to pray and give thanks
For the ones that go on the line
To protect this beloved country
They are out fighting hard core
While few of their wives are in the middle of labor
Can't be there for birth of a daughter or son
Shooting military rifles
When really they just want to hold their loved one
The ones that fight
We call them U.S soldiers
But no one should have to fight for life
God put us here to love one another
Not to fight ones sister or brother
Something that I don't understand
We were made to love
All we do though is hate
Do you see the problem now
There's to much hate
So let It all go
Everyone just behave
Stop the fighting
Start the love
There's people out there
Injured with wounds
They serve in what we call an army
Volunteer without being asked
Raised our American flag
We should be proud
Now don't run off to quick I'm not finished
We still have another topic to demolish
No one ever cares enough
Now I know this poem sounds a bit cheesy
But I'm not smart like a apple PC
This message had to get out
It had to be heard
Obviously no one else could
So I took matters into my own hands
Please do not forget this poem you seen
Because out there right now
Soldiers are injured with wounds.
