The Day My Day Was Taken Away
What can I say about the day my day was taken away,
Nothing besides that it lit up my world like anything may,
Though light is a fragile thing, one that can easily be stolen away,
I only wish they had allowed mine to stay, for I am nothing without my day
I would understand if it had chosen to go away, I would grive and weep like anyone may,
That is if their day had left them that day,
But as I've accounted mine was stolen away,
And I fear I will never again see my day,
Such a fragile thing my day, but why did it need to be stolen away
