Where I'm Going

College, dude.
maybe Duke or something
CSU Denver, I dunno.
A summer job, or an internship.
I know a guy at the local Pizza Hut,
at Wendy's.
You know, there's always room
for another ditchdigger.
I could...
I dunno, I'm freestyling, here.
Major in biology and english,
Minor in education,
or teaching,
or whatever they call it.
Drop bio,
That's my dad
talking through my apathy.
But still, better than nothing.
Sure as hell ain't joining the military,
or becoming a priest;
Job security there, right?
Yea, better than nothing.
Wasting away with alcohol,
and weed,
like my bros,
and still better than nothing
where I am now.
