Drowning
You don’t need water
To feel like you’re drowning
All it takes it some darkness
Your secrets
The thoughts in your head
To feel like you’re sinking
Unable to swim
Gasping for breath
Like a fish upon land
And you’re crying for help
But nobody hears you
As your lungs start to fill
And you struggle to breathe
But to your despair
You can’t catch your breath
As the thoughts in your head
Take control of your body
And you slip away to Neverland
