Freezing
Racing against the sunset,
Time and space.
A freezing hand,
A freezing face.
That which connects the sun and stars,
From freezing face, to freezing heart.
And like the stars are strewn apart,
From your hand my heart is far.
And as those freezing fingers meet,
Within the ice my heart will beat.
Faster still the motion came,
Your hand, my face, my heart, and flames.
But flames proceed to melt the ice
From my face and from my eyes.
Then quickly, still, your warmth grew old
And left my heart in freezing cold.
Thus the end for us drew near,
From freezing heart, to freezing tear.
