Light and Dark May Be One After All
Light seems to blind my eyes
Covering the space with sallow
Expanding beyond judgment
It moves infinitely, beyond my sense of callow
So visible to the naked eye
It comes in many forms- a light bulb or a lamp
Sometimes shining through a gamp
Light shines ubiquitously
Beyond human thought
It gives us a sense of time
Adding a small chime
The growth of light may seem ceaseless
But do any ends meet?
With a sense of day, there is night
Creating a ladder for humanity to climb
We all want to conquer life
Light can only help us grow
Inept and adept, the complete package
Tests our ability to resist wreckage
Darkness seems to blind my eyes
Covering the space with shadow
Expanding beyond judgment
It moves infinitely, beyond my sense of callow
It may seem evil, it may seem vile
But without darkness, we can’t dream
We have no choice, but to accept life
Go through the variations pried
So we discover, dark is not that rotter
If we accept the contradictions, we see no difference
In fact, light and dark seem to be one essence
