i’d like to be able to say
that i am a poet!
with the beats of Beauty and Creation’s wings echoing
(gently, cantabile)
through the hallows of my soul
as ink spills across my page.
ah, yes.
and don’t tell anyone
but
(i think it just might be the one thing i’d stab,
twist and
spill
for.)
