With pen in hand
and rain clouds
swirling around my creativity,
Writing waits.

I search for that answer
that always runs
right as my question exists.
But Writing waits.

I’m developing a life
that is beautiful
and desperate.
So Writing waits.

And when the answer
is at my fingertips,
a life is lived,
and I can feel the sun,
Writing is done.
