Carried Away by the Tide
They say don't go out to deep, you'll loose your
balance and be carried away by the tide.
so stayed to the front, merely knee deep, and
buried all of my feelings inside.
with time i felt rellious, left behind thes teaching,
replaced them with pride
Thought i'd give some trust to us, let the ocean
help me fly
Fell in love imediatlry with one look into
your eyes
I held you up on a pedastal, put yours
up before mine
you became my everything, my love, my
dreams, my life
If only i had know your love for me, to be
a disquise
You pushed me aside, revealing your lies,
our love, the act of a clown
what i put before myself, all that i felt,
what i let go and all i knew now
Was merely trickery, in my ears your victory
rang unbearebly loud.
And as written, tought and forgotten I began
to sink and drown
I was once told dont go out to deep, or
youll loose your balnce and be carried
away by the tide
