reactions are hidden.
mystery excites.
breathing quickens.
sweaty palms hold
the closest i'll get to you.
on and on,
we talk until the moon is high
in the night's purple sky.
cheeks hurt from smiles
that never seem to deflate.
fire ignites somewhere in my belly.
your sweet face is featured in my dreams.
i wish i could tell you how i really feel.
