"There are three rules to writing a novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are." W. Somerset Maugham

Highway 66,
Down to Black Hole Ave,
Crossroad of Empty Lane,
The road to somewhere.
I'm always on it,
Destination is always the goal,
The end is always rushed,
The scenery is blurred.
I want anywhere,
A wide open road,
With nothing at the end,
No choice but to go on.
No longer stuck,
On destination somewhere,
Willing to travel,
On the freeway to anywhere

It is better to write for yourself and have no audience than write for your audience and have no self.

i love how this reflects that the road really does go anywhere, and we don't quite know where until we are there

It was a nice poem. Some positive aspects of the piece are that you are your allusions to real places. It was short yet powerful, the part where you stated that "the scenery was blurry" was awesome because you didnt just say i couldnt see anything, you said that the scenery was blurry, so great word choice. One vegative critique is that there was not othr type of description other than the scenery was bluury. Other than that, a job well done keep it up!
